Parade at 7pm - Starting at 11th and Congress

Celebration follows at Auditorium Shores

 

Press Conference Details

-There is a 4-5:30pm press conference at 100 Congress, suite 1100 - Jackson, Walker LLP
-Nick shoots the press conference on tape from 4pm to 5:30pm
-Janine will go to the press conference to pick out a sound bite for Walt to toss to at 6pm
-Janine will feed the bite in from Unit 6 at 10th and Colorado
-Gusky will be downlinking CNN's tape feed of the news conference as a backup
-After the press conference, Nick will break down go to the parade

 

5pm

Olga solo anchors the 5pm newscast from the station
Walt does liveshot teasing the 6pm
Julie sets up and shoots Unit 6 liveshot (RM 1) for the 5pm newscasts
Mark will do live Weather from Unit 8 (RM 2)
Fisher shoots Marks live

6pm

Olga solo anchors the 6pm newscast from the station
Walt does live field anchoring from Unit 6 (RM 1) for 6pm
Julie sets up and shoots Unit 6 liveshot for the 6pm newscast
Eddie / Epi shoot and edit a 6pm pkg at the station on connecting the bike trails - Walt tosses to this pkg from the field
Mark will do live Weather from Unit 8 (RM 2)
Fisher shoots Marks live and then joins Walt for the parade

10pm

Olga solo anchors the 10pm newscast from the station

Walt does live field anchoring for 10pm

Nick sets up and shoots Unit 8 liveshot for the Cut-ins & 10pm newscast

Walt / Fisher shoot and edit a 10pm pkg in Unit 8 (RM 2) on parade and celebration


Unit 6

Live from 10th & Colorado for 5pm & 6pm (RM 1)
Julie will park the truck by 4pm
Julie will do the live and bring the truck back to the station after the liveshot

Unit 8

Mark will do live Weather from Unit 8 for 5 & 6pm (RM 2); Fisher will shoot the live and then join Walt for the parade
Live from Auditorium Shores for Cut-ins & 10pm
Engineering will park the truck at Auditorium Shores no later than 2pm (be there at 1:45pm)
Nick will shoot the Cut-ins & 10pm live shot

Skylink

Engineering will park the truck at Auditorium Shores no later than 2pm (be there at 1:45pm)
CNN will edit and feed tape from Skylink in the early afternoon
The truck will be used for Belo stations to edit and do uplinks
KENS - 10pm only (their crew)
KHOU, WFAA - 6pm only (their crew)

-Julie shoots and edits a VO of preparation at Auditorium Shores for 5 & 6 shows
-Julie will feed that VO from Unit 6 (RM1)
-Julie's primary duty is taking care of the 5 & 6 liveshots from Unit 6
-Eddie / Epi shoot and edit a 6pm pkg at the station on connecting the bike trails
-Walt tosses to Eddie's pkg from the field
-Fisher's primary duty for 5 & 6 liveshots is setting up Unit 8 for Weather (RM 2)
-Walt and Fisher shoot the primary package (edit and live in Unit 8) for the 10pm story
-Nick cover the 4pm press conference
-CNN will shoot the press conference themselves and head to Skylink to feed tape
-Nick rides the truck in front of Lance - needs to be in place at 11th & Colorado by 6:30pm
-After the parade, Nick focuses on live setup for Cut-ins and 10pm Liveshot from Unit 8 (RM2)
-Cut-ins are scheduled for 8:27:56 and 9:58:56 -- they will be 30 sec apiece and Walt will anchor them
-Gusky & Leland will coordinate Belo liveshots out of Skylink
-Gusky will coordinate taping the parade from Skyvue at 7pm
-Walt writes and voices package and does cutins & 10pm live
-Kevin is a credentialed backup nightside photographer in case he's needed
-Epi is a credentialed backup dayside photographer in case he's needed
-Leland, Tom, Glenn and Reed are credentialed in engineering
-There will be no designated media parking besides live trucks for the parade and celebration
-News units will need to park at Palmer Auditorium or the City Coliseum
